Job DescriptionJob Summary:Provides comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures within an ambulatory surgery setting. Works independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical continuum.Responsibilities:Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans for preoperative and postoperative phases.Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status during procedures and recovery.Administer medications, sedation, and anesthesia as indicated and according to protocol.Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure seamless patient care and safety.Manage patients recovering from C-sections, ensuring stability and comfort independently.Participate in rotational call coverage during weekends and holidays to maintain 24/7 patient care coverage.Qualifications:Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.Possess a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in day surgery or outpatient perioperative care.Maintain current healthcare provider-level BLS certification.Obtain ACLS and PALS certifications prior to employment with PCH Surgery Ambulatory.Demonstrate proficiency in managing diverse patient populations including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly.Be comfortable functioning autonomously in a busy outpatient surgical environment.Benefits & Growth:Access ongoing professional development and training opportunities.Join a dynamic team in a critical access hospital with diverse surgical cases.BenefitsDay 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral ProgramWhy TactStaff?Choosing TactStaff means partnering with a team that understands the unique demands and rewards of PreOp.
