Subject Matter Expert (A - AH)A highly skilled individual who has an acknowledged specialized acquisition, logistics, and/or technological expertise in a specific functional task or with a particular system.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide expert-level management consulting services in a specialized domain area
Analyze and resolve complex organizational, operational, or contractual challenges
Develop innovative solutions and strategies to address high-impact management issues
Perform senior-level advisory roles equivalent to GS-13/14 or higher responsibilities
Evaluate policies, procedures, and organizational frameworks and recommend improvements
Support executive leadership with strategic planning, assessments, and decision-making
Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior stakeholders
Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor within the organization
Contribute thought leadership and best practices informed by professional recognition and experience
Other duties as assigned
Must adhere to the company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines
Travel may be required
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include:
Exceptional expertise in a specialized management or functional domain
Led multiple projects and provide data analysis, integrations, and reconciliation
Develop and deploy advanced data systems that support tactical expertise in natural language processing, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
Proven ability to solve complex problems using efficient and unique approaches
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and strategic planning capabilities
Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and senior-level advisory experience
Recognition by professional societies or peers within the field
Ability to influence decision-making at executive and senior leadership levels
Education and experience:
Bachelor's Degree (BS) plus 11 years of relevant experience, or
High School Diploma (HS) plus 15 years of relevant experience (also accepted is a Masters and 9 years and/or a PhD+7)
A minimum of a secret security is required.
