The company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and a strategic partner to the Owners and the Board in guiding the organization's continued growth and long-term value creation. SiteLine’s primary strategy is to build people who are inspired to grow in their careers, requiring intentional scaling in support of that people-first strategy. The company is well-positioned for such continued growth, supported by a healthy backlog and a strong forward pipeline. With proven results, long-standing relationships with clients, banking partners, and sureties, and leadership team aligned around markets and people's strategies, the foundation is solid. Such scaling creates a meaningful role for the CFO to build even more effective systems for cash flow, financial projections and information to operations that will optimize and shape the business for the future. The CFO will have direct visibility with the Owner’s and the Board and play a central role in aligning financial strategy with enterprise objectives. As a core member of a high-performing and collaborative executive team, this individual will contribute to shaping company strategy, evaluating growth opportunities, and ensuring that financial planning supports both near-term execution and long-term scalability. This role is both operational and transformational in nature. The CFO will lead the financial organization while also serving as a culture-shaping leader and executive partner, helping translate strategy into sustained performance across a dynamic, project-driven business. What You Will Own Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including long-term planning, capital allocation, and growth initiativesServe as a strategic advisor to the CEO, Board, and executive leadership team on financial performance, risk management, and investment decisionsPartner with executive leadership to align financial planning with business strategy, including evaluating future-state scenarios (e.g., scaling the organization over a multi-year horizon through initiatives including organic growth, potential M&A, growth financing)Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning to support informed decision-makingOversee capital expenditure planning, equipment financing, and liquidity management to support operational and strategic objectivesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions in which the company operates Operational Finance and Business Partnership Partner closely with operations, estimating, and project management teams to drive financial performance at the project levelLead the implementation and optimization of ERP; focus on systems and transformation ERP integration, automation, and dashboards Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance financial operationsMaintain and strengthen relationships with sureties, brokers, and insurance providers, ensuring adequate bonding capacity to support growthProactively identify financial, contractual, and operational risks and implement mitigation strategiesSupport executive decision-making by providing clear financial analysis that enables the organization to pursue growth opportunities with discipline and confidence Leadership and Organizational Development Lead, develop, and mentor an established finance and accounting organization structured to support multiple regions and cost centersFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function and across the broader organizationServe as a visible and influential leader within the executive team, contributing to company culture and organizational alignmentBuild organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, and performance managementPromote alignment between finance and other functional areas to support enterprise-wide objectives Risk Management and Governance Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with all applicable financial regulationsOversee audit processes and maintain relationships with external auditorsManage enterprise risk as it relates to financial performance, contracts, and operational executionSupport executive leadership and the Board in governance practices and decision-making frameworks The leadership team operates in a collaborative, high-accountability environment that values direct communication, thoughtful decision-making, and shared success. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred10 to 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with significant experience in construction or project-based industriesDemonstrated expertise in construction accounting, including job cost management and WIP reportingProven ability to operate as a strategic partner to executive leadership, contributing to enterprise-level decision-makingExperience leading and developing high-performing teams and building effective cross-functional partnershipsStrong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced environmentsExperience with ERP and project accounting systems such as Spectrum, Viewpoint, CMiC, QuickBooks, or similar platformsWillingness to travel as required Key Performance Indicators Accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial reporting and forecastingPerformance of project margins and job cost management across the portfolioEffectiveness of cash flow management and forecastingProgress in system implementation, process improvement, and operational efficiencyStrength of executive-level decision support and contribution to strategic outcomesDevelopment and performance of the finance organization and its integration with operations Salary Range: starting at $150,000 + negotiable based upon experienceCome join SiteLine Services as we expand our footprint within the ever-changing construction industry.
