Client:- Cimetrix Semiconductor Factory Automation Software (Cimetrix Incorporated, now part of PDF Solutions) Experts in Factory Automation Software for Smart Manufacturing and IndustryRole :- ContractPosition – Senior Business Analyst (BA) With SAP Systems (Get from )Experience: 7 + yrs# of positions: 3C2C - $65/hr USDLocation: – Chicago, IL (Hybrid) 2 – 3 days a week from officeWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong domain knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing and hands on exposure to SAP systems .The ideal candidate will act as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, manufacturing operations, and IT teams, supporting digital transformation, process optimization, and system modernization initiatives within semiconductor manufacturing environments.Key Responsibilities :Domain & Business Analysis• Serve as a SAP (Systems) for semiconductor manufacturing processes, including:Wafer fabrication (Fab)Assembly, Test, and PackagingYield, quality, and defect analysis• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, product engineering, and IT teams to understand business objectives and challenges.• Analyze end to end manufacturing and supply chain processes and translate business needs into actionable requirements.SAP & Systems Engagement• Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams across modules such as:SAP PP (Production Planning)SAP MM (Materials Management)Support integration between SAP and manufacturing systems , including:MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)Planning, yield management, and data reporting platformsRequirements & Process Management• Elicit, document, and manage:Business Requirements Documents (BRD)Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS)Process flows, use cases, and data mappings• Ensure end to end traceability of requirements from definition through implementation and validation.• Perform impact analysis for changes across SAP and manufacturing systems.Testing & Delivery Support• Define UAT test scenarios and support execution with business users.• Validate SAP configurations and integrated solutions against manufacturing and quality requirements.• Support issue triage, defect resolution, and post implementation stabilization.Stakeholder Management• Act as a trusted interface between US based business users , global delivery teams, and external vendors.• Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, and design discussions.• Provide clear, concise communication to program leadership and senior stakeholders.
