CNC Programmer

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Programmer Thomas Sign and Awning in Clearwater, Florida, creates brands that get businesses noticed and tower over the competition! We arelooking for a CNC Programmer to join our growing production team. The CNC Programmer will prepare production files for vinyl plotters and CNC routing machines by translating engineering blueprints and CAD models into G-code/M-Code for automated tools. Optimizing the machine paths of the cutting tools to produce high quality manufactured parts. Candidates must possess the following: Use CAD/CAM software to write, debug and code CNC Machines Ability to read production drawings and use a scale rule if needed Adjust machine settings and tool paths to enhance efficiency to achieve high-quality standard Troubleshoot code errors or mechanical issues Must have good mathematical skills Understanding of cutting tools, materials and machining process. Background in the sign-making or graphics industry helpful but not required Experience using one of the following software types is required: Enroute, Casmate, Flexi-sign, Adobe Illustrator or other graphics or CAD softwareExceptional attention to detail needed to ensure accurate and precise manufacturing Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term & Long Term Disability, PTO, Holiday Pay, 401K
