This position is required to maintain equipment uptime and maintaining records of work and inspections.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintaining records for any work and inspections performedPerforming inventory on machine parts and suppliesConducting routine maintenance on equipment and systemsEnsuring all safety systems are functioning properlyEnsure safe working practices are followedFollow established procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment; including immediate work area, breakroom and restroomsAdhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelinesAttend all required employee meetings and trainings as scheduled by direct supervisor, management or administrationMaintain individual skills and keep up to date with latest production and production required conceptsOther duties as assigned by managementRECOMMENDED SKILLSJob time managementSelf-motivated and Safety consciousStrong diagnostic and technical skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent multi-tasking and organizational skillsUnderstanding of equipment and toolsKnowledge of industrial sewing machine operationProgrammable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledgeWORK ENVIRONMENTRequired to stand and walk frequently.
