Work involves sorting, opening, preparing, and delivering mail for processing across multiple areas. As a Clerical Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties:Mail Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, including certified and bulk packagesDocument Preparation: Open envelopes, remove staples, flatten paperwork, and mend torn materials as neededSystem Logging: Scan and log bulk packages and messenger work into required tracking systemsDelivery Support: Make scheduled trips for mail pickup and delivery across assigned work areasCustomer Contact: Notify internal customers when bulk packages arrive and coordinate follow upWork Distribution: Organize applications, place materials in correct bins, and assist with movement of work to key entry areasInterested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
