About the role
We are seeking experienced Computer Network Defense Analysts (CNDAs) to support mission-critical Intelligence Community (IC) operations through our Next Generation Analysts portfolio. As part of a collaborative team of government, military, and contractor professionals, you'll help identify, analyze, and defend against evolving cyber threats while delivering intelligence that directly supports our nation's security.
What you'll do
Monitor and analyze data from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic, and host system logs to identify vulnerabilities, investigate cyber events, and detect emerging threats.
Analyze security incidents and develop mitigation strategies to strengthen network defenses and protect critical systems and infrastructure.
Support and secure a variety of network environments, including wired and wireless networks, cloud technologies, video teleconferencing platforms, and other enterprise communication systems.
Perform network and cybersecurity analysis across diverse technologies, including networking protocols, cloud environments, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and advanced security architectures.
Collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel to support mission objectives, share intelligence, and coordinate cyber defense efforts.
Apply critical thinking and analytical techniques to evaluate complex datasets, identify patterns, and generate actionable intelligence.
Document, communicate, and present findings, recommendations, and newly developed tradecraft to technical teams, stakeholders, and intelligence customers.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field. Applicable military cyber training may be considered in lieu of certain educational requirements.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: computer or information systems design and development, software programming, cybersecurity, network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, digital forensics, information assurance, or systems engineering.
Hands-on experience with network and/or systems administration.
Foreign language proficiency may be considered toward meeting certain experience requirements.
Labor category and level will be determined based on a combination of relevant experience, education, and applicable equivalencies.
The pay range for this role is:
220,000 - 255,000 USD per year(Annapolis Junction, MD)
