Baseball/Softball Instructor

D-BAT Waco is currently seeking a Baseball or Softball Instructor to join our Player Development Department. We are looking for a coach who is passionate about athlete growth and skilled in teaching hitting and/or throwing mechanics. This role focuses on providing high-level instruction, mentorship, and development planning for athletes of all ages.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Instructor/Coach will be expected to:Implement an organizational hitting and/or throwing development program.Plan and execute daily training sessions for scheduled athletes.Analyze athlete performance using tools, reports, and technology.Create, prescribe, and monitor individualized development plans based on each athlete's areas of opportunity.Collaborate with Strength & Performance staff to address physical limitations and enhance overall development.Communicate clearly with athletes and parents regarding plans, goals, and progress.Requirements & QualificationsCollegiate or professional playing experience preferred.Strong understanding of modern player-development concepts and willingness to adapt to new information, tools, and technology.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with athletes, parents, and staff.Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.Additional RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform movements such as bending, reaching, and throwing.
