Job Title: CADD Technician – Space Utilization Job Description: Provide CADD Technician to support DPW Master Planning Division. Support may be in the form of space studies and facility use physical investigations involving taping and measuring for linear and SF verification. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of AR 405-70 (Utilization of Real Estate), DA PAM 420-10 (Space Management) and current space planning issues. Support may be in the form of space studies, facility use investigations, and facility utilization studies. Data collected from facility surveys will be enter into the Army’s space management system (ePRISMS). Responsibilities and Duties Job Requirements: Able to implement data capture processes with various technologies such as laser dimensioning, surveying, utilizing Global Positioning Systems, imagery, scanning, and photography. Conduct field surveys using latest CADD technologies to ensure accuracy in the data capture process, and works with the customer to understand priorities and data requirements. Conduct interviews with each facility POC to collect space and man power data to include Category Codes, UIC, Populations and Personnel type. Proficient in CADD technologies to the level of creating 2D CADD drawings with data attributes that are in compliance with Spatial Data Standards for Facility, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE). Create/Update survey space and man power data utilizing the Enterprise Pro-Active Real Property Interactive Space Management System (ePRISMS) Dashboard. Create/update new and existing ePRISMS standard file CAD data utilizing the latest IGI&S Program Geospatial Data Layer QAP – ePRISMS. Qualifications and Skills Job Qualifications: Shall have experience with Department of Defense (DoD) Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) and Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) 2.0 standards. Must have strong skills developing and analyzing CAD drawings using Microstation V8i technologies Knowledge of the Army Installation management systems of record, including HQIIS, GFEBS, ISR, RPLANS, and ASIP preferred. Working knowledge of Enterprise Pro-Active Real Property Interactive Space Management System (ePRISMS) and exposure to the IGI&S Program Geospatial Data Layer QAP – ePRISMS preferred. Working knowledge of DA PAM 415-28, AR 405-45, AR 405-70 and AR 420-1 preferred. Possess GFEBS Certification in Real Property roles: Preferred Project Structure Controller Master Data Maintainer Asset Interface Processing Monitor Business Partner Maintainer Real Property Interface Processing Monitor Real Property Inventory Inspection Processor Real Property Viewer Proficient in MS Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Education: Associates Degree in CADD or 4 years related experience. Citizenship: United States Citizenship required for this position.
