Wealth Management Associate

Garry Executive Search has been retained by a well-established, fee-only wealth management firm in the Twin Cities to recruit a Wealth Management Associate to support a growing advisory team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in wealth management operations or client service who enjoys being at the center of the client experience and wants to grow long-term within a collaborative, team-oriented firm.The OpportunityThis role sits within a highly collaborative wealth management environment where every client is served by a team, not an individual advisor. The Client Service Associate plays a key role in supporting advisors, ensuring a smooth client experience, and keeping day-to-day operations running efficiently.You’ll have exposure to multiple areas of the business including onboarding, account maintenance, portfolio administration, and client communication—while working closely with advisors and operations professionals.What You’ll Be DoingSupport client onboarding, including account opening, transfers, and system updatesProcess client paperwork and account maintenance with custodiansServe as a point of contact for clients via phone and emailMaintain accurate client information and task notes in the CRMCoordinate with custodians to ensure timely and accurate processingAssist with portfolio system maintenance and reporting updatesSupport internal teams with document management and workflow organizationBackground They’re Looking ForPrior experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related client service roleStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailComfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience with CRM systems and portfolio reporting platforms (Tamarac, Salesforce, or similar) is a plusExperience working with Schwab and/or Fidelity is a plusSeries 65 preferred (or willingness to obtain)Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $65,000–$95,000 Bonus: Approximately 20% target bonus401(k) with generous employer matchHealth and dental benefitsSupportive, team-first culture with long-term growth opportunitiesWhy This Role Stands OutFee-only, fiduciary wealth management environmentStrong team culture — collaborative, supportive, and low-egoExposure to the full client lifecycle in wealth managementLong-term career runway within a growing firmInterested in Learning More?This search is being conducted confidentially by Garry Executive Search, a boutique recruiting firm specializing exclusively in the wealth management and RIA industry.Apply directly to start a discreet conversation.Garry Executive Search is dedicated to providing exceptional recruiting services to wealth management firms.
