Intermediate Architect

Title:Intermediate ArchitectClient:Leading NYC A/E/C, Development and Construction firm with projects including multi-family residential building, famous restaurants, high end offices and large planning projects.Description:Our client, a dynamic architectural firm based in New York City, is seeking an Intermediate Architect to join their team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong NYC project experience who is ready to contribute to all phases of design, documentation, and project coordination. The designer will collaborate closely with the firm's architects and engineers, supporting technical and design deliverables from concept through construction.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and draft architectural plans for various project typesPrepare construction documents and DOB filing setsCreate presentation materials for client and internal reviewsSupport construction administration, including site visits, surveys, and inspectionsResearch materials, finishes, and new productsMaintain and expand CAD, Revit, and Rhino drawing libraries and detailsAssist with 3D modeling, visualizations, and design studies as neededRequirements3-8 years of professional architectural experienceStrong proficiency in RevitExpert skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative SuiteSolid understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and standardsWorking knowledge of NYC Building Code, IBC, and NYC zoningFamiliarity with x-refs, layers, and layer management best practicesRhino experience; 3D modeling and rendering preferredPhysical model-making experience a plusMaster's degree preferred but not requiredExcellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skillsSalary / Hourly:65-100kBenefits:benefit packagehybrid work scheduleIncrease in salaries:We have a proven track record of negotiating above-market salaries for our permanent placements and hourly rates.Recruiter:Emily Scheppeschepp@cons4arch.comDaily Jobs Mobile App download .
