As we embark on our mission, we are actively seeking teammates who are eager to contribute to our legacy of eye excellence, a tradition that spans more than 50 years.Position Summary:The Laser Coordinator position provides you with the opportunity to serve our patients in the flow of patient intake and care. While making our patients feel comfortable throughout their visit, you will be responsible for carrying out efficient office procedures.Job Duties & Essential Functions:Manage laser schedule and update as needed, entering accurate and current data into the computerEnsure safety is maintained at all times, including the confirmation of patient information during time out processAdhere to Infection Control protocols such as hand hygiene, equipment safety, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Assist the Physician during the procedureReview the chart for completion prior to discharge, including proper documentation of the procedure, post-operative appointment and patient discharge instructionsReview the post-operative instructionsMaintain the laser area in a neat, orderly and safe manner and contribute to the efficient and smooth functioning of the CenterEnsure continuous communication between laser room and procedure scheduling regarding patient flow, problems, or concernsAssist Front Desk as needed and other duties may be assigned as neededSpecial projects and other duties may be assigned as neededRequired Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent requiredExcellent written, verbal, and listening skillsStrong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekendsAbove average customer service skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situationsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in the medical field highly desirableWork Schedule:Rotating Schedule – including days, evenings, and weekendsSalary Range: $20.00-$22.00/hour to commensurate with experienceBenefits:We aim to take care of our teammates the same way we take care of our patients.
