Camp Counselors play an important role in creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for junior campers while helping lead tennis instruction, games, and daily camp activities.This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, love being active outdoors, and are passionate about tennis and creating a positive camp experience.Part-time and seasonal positions offer a complimentary staff meal and limited access to tennis and golf facilities.Country Club of Asheville is a McConnell Golf Property. To learn more about McConnell Golf, please visit www.mcconnellgolf.com .ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily tennis instruction and drills for junior players of various ages and skill levelsHelp organize and supervise camp games, activities, and match playEnsure the safety and well-being of all campers at all timesCreate a fun, energetic, and inclusive camp environmentAssist with camp setup, cleanup, and daily operationsCommunicate professionally with parents, members, and staffEncourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive attitudes among campersHelp maintain courts, equipment, and common areas throughout campAttend staff meetings and training sessions as requiredPerform additional duties as assigned by the Tennis Professional StaffQualificationsPositive attitude and strong work ethicEnjoy working with children in a group settingTennis playing or coaching experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work outdoors in summer weather conditionsDependable, punctual, and team-orientedAbility to remain energetic and engaged throughout the camp dayCPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but not requiredMust be at least 16 years old Salary Range USD $12.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
