Biomedical Equipment Cleaning Technician

Position Overview We are looking for a Biomedical Equipment Cleaning Technician to perform the cleaning and disinfecting of biomedical devices according to manufacturer procedures and company standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the hygiene and safety of rental and customer-owned equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a focus on quality work, and the ability to maintain an organized and safe clean environment. No prior experience is required – we will provide full training! Key Responsibilities Clean and disinfect biomedical equipment according to company and manufacturer procedures. Perform visual inspections to ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety protocols. Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of cleaning processes and outcomes. Follow safety guidelines and maintain equipment boundaries to prevent cross-contamination. Contribute to shop organization and inventory management as needed. Typical Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs). Some sitting and computer work for documentation and record-keeping. Regular handling and movement of equipment. Typical Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in climate-controlled facilities. Occasional exposure to outdoor elements (less than 10% of the time). Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused work ethic. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional demeanor and communication skills. Familiarity with biomedical equipment is a plus.
