Senior Full Stack Software Engineer📍 Massachusetts | Hybrid / On-site💰 Up to $200k + EquityI'm working with a growing robotics company developing advanced robotic platforms and autonomous factory systems, searching for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys working across the entire robotics software stack; from software running directly on robots through backend infrastructure, cloud services, databases, analytics, and internal tooling.You'll be working across robotics, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and production software, helping connect sensors, compute, planning, fleet management, analytics, and cloud services into reliable systems that operate at scale.🔧 What you'll be doing as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer:• Robotics Software & Integration: Design and develop software powering AI-driven robotic platforms and autonomous factory logistics robots, while building infrastructure that connects sensors, cameras, compute, planning, robotic hardware, analytics, and cloud systems into reliable production workflows.• Backend, Cloud & Distributed Systems: Build scalable backend services, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures supporting robotic operations, fleet management, real-time robot operation, telemetry, and data pipelines across SQL/NoSQL environments.• Tools, Data & Operations: Develop internal engineering tools, operational dashboards, monitoring and analytics platforms, and integrate sensor and robotic data into downstream planning, monitoring, analytics, and operational systems. You'll work across robotics software, cloud platforms, databases, and engineering tooling.• Reliability & Architecture: Improve production software through testing, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and robust debugging while contributing to architectural decisions across robotics software, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.🧠 The Ideal Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will bring:• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong experience developing software for robotics or autonomous systems• Experience with ROS, ROS2, or comparable robotics middleware, and software interfacing directly with robotic hardware, sensors, embedded systems, IoT, or edge platforms• Strong backend engineering experience across APIs, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging, and event-driven systems• Comfortable working across Linux, robotics software, cloud infrastructure, databases, internal tools, telemetry, fleet management, and production systems• Exposure to computer vision, sensor processing, AI-powered applications, autonomous robots, industrial automation, or connected devices is highly desirable• Excellent debugging, communication, and problem-solving skillsIf you're a software generalist who enjoys getting close to the hardware and wants to work across the full robotics stack, this could be a great opportunity.📩 DM me directly if you'd like to learn more.
