They are solving complex distributed systems challenges, developing the core platform that powers real-time processing, orchestration, and execution across demanding production environments. This Rust Software Engineer will join the founding engineering team and own core platform infrastructure, building the distributed systems backbone that enables scalable, resilient, and high-performance software. Deep product involvement and direct customer exposure are baked into the role from day one.The market they are targeting is rapidly growing, with increasing demand for modern systems software that can deliver the performance and safety required by next-generation applications. The engineers who join now will have genuine influence over technical architecture and product direction at the moment it matters most.Key experience:5+ years' experience in Software Engineering in elite companies (FAANG, top tech organisations, startups, etc.)Strong commercial experience with Rust, building production-grade systemsStrong backend engineering foundation with hands-on experience building complex, high-reliability distributed systems at scaleDeep understanding of systems programming, concurrency, networking, and performance optimisationA customer-obsessed mindset—comfortable working directly with users and customers to understand problems and shape solutionsExperience in a high-bar engineering culture (Palantir, Anduril, Stripe, or equivalent) where ownership, rigour, and product instinct are the normFull-stack capability is a plus, but the priority is exceptional backend depth and the ability to own systems end-to-endThis is a rare opportunity to join a founding engineering team tackling some of the most challenging problems in modern systems engineering, building the core infrastructure that underpins the platform while working alongside a team that has already proven it can build at the highest level.
