Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Assistant to help keep daily warehouse activities running smoothly in Santa Clara, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized, and can support the movement of materials, tools, and equipment for active project teams. The role requires strong attention to detail, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Verify incoming deliveries by checking shipment contents against supporting documentation and noting any discrepancies.• Arrange and maintain warehouse stock so materials, tools, and equipment are easy to locate and access.• Prepare and stage requested items for pickup, transport, or delivery to field teams and project sites.• Support loading and unloading activities for deliveries, returned items, and equipment transfers.• Keep the warehouse orderly, clean, and aligned with workplace safety expectations.• Assist with packing and organizing materials for transport to nearby job locations as needed.• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping, receiving, or material handling is preferred.• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.• Ability to lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.• Comfortable with regular standing, walking, bending, and other physical tasks throughout the workday.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling inventory and shipments.• Experience supporting construction environments or working with electrical supplies is an advantage.• Familiarity with warehousing, cargo handling, or material flow processes is helpful.TalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
