In this role, you'll primarily serve commercial clients, with the occasional residential project, diagnosing and resolving drain issues using industry-standard tools such as cabling machines, hydro jetters, sewer cameras, and pipe locators. You'll play a key role in restoring proper flow, identifying root causes, and recommending effective solutions - all while delivering top-tier service and professionalism on every job.Essential Job Function:Operate drain cabling equipment, hydro jetters, sewer cameras, and locators to identify and resolve blockages or damagePerform sewer scoping, line locating, and assess pipe conditions to suggest appropriate repairs or maintenanceClear and clean drains in kitchens, bathrooms, and main sewer lines using industry toolsProvide clear feedback and any repair recommendations to clientsHandle minor plumbing repairs related to drain systemsComplete required service documentation accurately and on timeCollect and record service fees when necessaryMaintain safe work practices and follow MTech's safety standards and proceduresRepresent MTech with professionalism and integrity on every job siteMaintain required tools and PPE, arrive prepared, and support a productive job startParticipate in on-call rotation and be available for after-hours service as neededAttend regular team meetings and ongoing training sessionsRegular and predictable attendance is expected in order to meet the requirements of this positionOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED2-3 years of drain cleaning and inspection experience (preferred in a service-focused role)Familiarity with equipment such as:Cabling machines (e.g., Gorlitz, Spartan, Ridgid)Hydro jettersSewer cameras and pipe locatorsBasic understanding of plumbing systems (we'll train for growth!)Willingness to enroll in MTech's accredited Apprenticeship ProgramAbility to lift, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces as neededClean driving record and ability to meet MTech's driver standardsFlexible and willing to work within the on-call scheduleCommitment to safe, quality-driven work and excellent client serviceAbout MTech:MTech Mechanical is a full-service mechanical contractor delivering HVAC, plumbing, fabrication, and design-build solutions for complex commercial and industrial projects.
