PLC Programmer

· Assist in the development of Project Functional Technical Specifications, Testing Documents, etc. · Read and understand P&ID’s, loop diagrams, process flow diagrams, cause, and effect matrices. · Develop HMI software applications. · Develop PLC software programs. · Design Control Panels · Configure/calibrate field instrumentation and other equipment. · Assist in the startup and commissioning of automation systems. · 3+ years of industry experience is preferred. · Excellent organizational and personal time management skills required. · Strong analytical skills, as well as technical writing and oral communication skills. · Experience with HMI and PLC platforms is required. · Interfacing PLC’s · Variable Speed Drive · Schneider & Allen-Bradley are highly desirable. · SCADA is a big plus · Instrument installation and calibration experience. · Good mechanical experience with engines, compressors, pumps, and valves is preferred. · Advanced Process Control and Database design/development experience is a plus. · Operator Qualification (OQ) Certifications are a plus. · Ability and willingness to travel (typical travel is 25-30% annually, to and from client sites) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Ability to Commute: Midland, TX (Required) Ability to Relocate: Midland, TX: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required) Work Location: In person
