Job Title: Java DB Developer Job Location: Alpharetta, GA Job Type: Long-term Contract Job Summary Java DB Developer In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies. ResponsibilitiesWork as a Java developer in the Strategic Client Reporting team. Candidate would be responsible for providing a stable technical solution which is robust and scalable as per business needs.Provide hands-on code development and testing based on the project delivery needs.Ensure that system architecture and integration design standards are in alignment with broader platform strategies and business goals.Work closely with Squad/Team and other IT partners on day-to-day basis to ensure smooth delivery of projects in Agile Model.Acquire a robust understanding of financial products, services, processes, and organizational structure in order to find optimal solutions.Maintain awareness of industry trends, compliance concerns, risk control processes, and regulatory landscapeMentor other software developers Minimum QualificationsBE/B Tech/MCAExcellent written and verbal communication skills Qualifications / Skills5+ years of work experience primarily with building enterprise server-side applications using Java/J2EE TechnologiesMultithreading & ConcurrencyJVM fundamentals (memory, GC basics, performance tuning)Extensive experience with Spring frameworkStrong experience with Relational Databases (RDBMS)Excellent SQL skillsJoins, subqueries, indexing, performance tuningSnowflake experience is a strong plusGood working knowledge of Linux / UnixShell scriptingLog analysisProcess monitoringUnderstanding of application deployment and runtime environmentsHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as: Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOpsGit-based version controlBuild tools (Maven / Gradle)Exposure to containerization like Docker is a plusKubernetes (nice to have)Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies, JirAbility to review codeSnowflake or cloud data warehouse experienceCloud platforms: Azure/AWS/GCPMessaging systems: Kafka / RabbitMQMicroservices architectureSecurity best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSO , SAML concepts)Performance optimization and troubleshooting in production systemsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsClear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently and in team-based environmentsOwnership mindset and attention to detail
