Manufacturing Associate-BTA AssemblerWe are looking for a Manufacturing Associate Assembler to join our Base Tube Assembly (BTA) team at Bluefors in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will support the assembly and quality of Cryomech Base Tube Assemblies, contributing to the production of precision cryogenic components used in cutting-edge technologies. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on manufacturing skills while working in a collaborative, high-quality production environment that supports innovation across industries.Your tasks will include assembling Base Tube Assembly components in accordance with documented procedures and specifications to ensure consistency and quality. You will operate and maintain tooling and production equipment safely and effectively while ensuring all work meets established quality standards. You will complete and maintain accurate production and quality documentation and demonstrate a clear understanding of operational procedures while consistently meeting quality expectations. In addition, you will participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and performance, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to ISO quality system requirements. You may also perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and production goals.We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or GED, along with 13 years of manufacturing experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to follow documented procedures and instructions. You should be comfortable working with tools and production equipment in a manufacturing environment and be able to maintain accuracy in both assembly work and documentation. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as applicable. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally to humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, heat, cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
