Credit Analyst

Job Description Credit AnalystThe Credit Analyst will evaluate and analyze financial information to assess the creditworthiness of individuals or companies. This role involves reviewing credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant data to make informed recommendations regarding credit limits and terms. The Credit Analyst will collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely credit decisions, and provide insights to manage risk and support financial stability. The Credit Analyst's expertise will contribute to maintaining a balanced and healthy credit portfolio, supporting the organization's financial goals and media-related ventures.Responsibilities:Partner with Data Governance providing direction on Customer Set ups • Serve as back up for Customer set upsReview Credit Applications from Clients applying for credit and initiate credit cases in SAPPerform credit investigations and offer credit limit recommendationsPrepare payment trend reportsMonitor deals in the sales system by lifting with replacing holdsMonitor accounts & review clients for credit reviewSend accounts to third party collection agenciesWork & Monitor accounts sent to Collection Agencies or Legal Teamconduct resolution on various Credit/AR related issuesBuild up customers in the customer master databaseComplete payment reference requests from outside partiesParticipate in the twice monthly bankruptcy council callServe as backup to the senior credit manager & Senior Analyst as neededAssist the collection team on collection issues son a daily basisMaintain SharePoint websiteSet up credit files and send applications to outside payment vetting serviceUpdate SOP as necessaryOwner of Customer form-making updates & revisionsHighlight any Continuous Improvement opportunities and processesSupport monthly bad debt callsCommunicate to stakeholders on credit process changesProvide guidance/training to on credit processes to ensure aligned to Global Credit PolicyRequirements:Bachelor's degree in finance or business1-2 years of credit or related experiencePrior experience in finance, financial analysis or related preferredPrior experience in advertising or media buying preferredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)Experience with ERP system, SAP & Oracle E1 a plusExperience in Media Industry a plusExperience in a multi-location companyExperience in Credit Risk Management a plusStrong communication skills - oral, written, interpersonalStrong language skills (English)Ability to think outside of the box, quickly and be a self starterFlexibility with work scheduleTeam oriented person who can focus on details and follow upAbility to operate in a fast paced environmentDemonstrated excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitaskDemonstrated strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customersAbility to act with integrityCompensation:$20.00 to $22.76/hr.
