We are relentless in our process and put attention to detail first.What You Will DoAs Director of FP&A at Petra Funds Group, you will play a critical role in supporting the firm’s CFO and senior leadership team, operating at the intersection of financial planning, analysis, and executive reporting. This is a high-visibility position focused on driving financial insight, ensuring data integrity, and enabling strategic decision-making across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading financial planning & analysis, including budgeting, forecasting (revenue and EBITDA), and variance analysisDeveloping and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision-makingPreparing and delivering board and executive-level reporting materials, including financial decks and performance narrativesConducting contribution margin and unit economics analysis to inform business performancePartnering cross-functionally to reconcile data across systems (e.g., Salesforce, finance platforms, engagement letters) and ensure reporting accuracyDriving ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects for executive leadershipContributing to corporate strategy initiatives, including potential exposure to M&A and corporate development activitiesWhat You’ll Need6–8+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, FP&A, or strategic financeStrong financial modeling and analytical skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysisExperience building executive-level presentations (e.g., board decks, leadership updates)Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPointStrong attention to detail, particularly in data validation and reconciliationAbility to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insightsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsSalary RangeAt Petra Funds Group, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The compensation range for this position is $146,000 – $219,000. This range represents the base salary only.
