Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster - Director of Social ServicesJob Title: Director of Social ServicesLocation: Lincoln, NEDepartment: AdministrationReports to: AdministratorPosition Type: Salaried Exempt, M-F with on-callResponsibilities:Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the social service programs. • Provide information to residents/families as to Medicare/Medicaid, and other financial assistance programs available to the resident.Assist the Quality Assessment & Assurance Committee in developing and implementing appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficiencies.Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the social service department.Qualifications:Minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or related field, and/or NHCA 36-hour Social Work.Will maintain required credits in accordance with licensure requirements as needed. • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.Skills:In-depth knowledge of long-term care procedures and resident care.Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.Great communication and people skills.Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401KPTO PlanEmployee Recognition Programs
