Speech Language Pathologist in West Chester, PA

Make a meaningful impact supporting students ages 7-21 with high-level autism and complex communication needs. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated caseload of 30-35 children, primarily non-verbal, at a single school site. You'll get to focus your expertise while collaborating with passionate educators in a structured, supportive environment. You'll enjoy a consistent 35-hour work week through the end of the school year, with opportunities to extend into ESY (July 6-August 21) and the next school year-offering lasting connections with your students. A combination of three days of onsite orientation and virtual onboarding prepares you for success. Requirements:Master's degree in Speech-Language PathologyCurrent CCC-SLP certificationActive Educator CertificateDemonstrated experience with school-based SLP servicesComfortable working with children and young adults ages 7-21, especially those with significant autism and non-verbal needsStrong communication, collaboration, and documentation skillsMust pass school onboarding requirements, including fingerprint clearance Responsibilities:Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to a dedicated caseloadConduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies for non-verbal studentsCollaborate with teaching staff, specialists, and families for student successMaintain thorough records and progress documentation What to Expect:Competitive hourly pay between $48-$58, depending on experienceFlexible interview process, including a virtual one-on-one meeting and an onsite visitImmediate decision following successful completion of the onsite requirement Step into a rewarding role where your skills will be valued and your care will truly make a difference.
