Northern California Family Medicine position 1 hour to Redding, CA and 2 hours to Sacramento, CA. Federally qualified health center setting (FQHC). HPSA score of 16. Permanent position 100% outpatient primary care. Possibility to moonlight with local hospital if interested in doing some inpatient work. BE/BC American Board of Family Medicine Expect to see around 20 patients per day on average. Base salary ranges from $235,000 - $275,000 per year. Negotiable relocation and signing bonuses. Option to work 4 ten hours days per week or 5 eight-hour days per week. Group is experienced in sponsoring H1-B visa holders (cap-exempt employer) and J-1 visa holders (HHS J-1 waivers). Backup phone call is shared among providers and very rare they get called. Group has an excellent triage service that runs from 5 pm 8 am. In-house lab and X-ray available. Group has two clinic sites. Services include Primary care, Pediatrics, Dermatology and Urgent Care. Area is known for agricultural industry with orchards, olives, and almonds. Local Wal-Mart distribution center and logging company are major employers in addition to health care providers. Housing industry has a good selection of options with very reasonable housing prices. Can get a very nice home with land in $300-$400K range. Group was established in 1956 and very well established in the area.
