Quality Assurance Associate

Job Title: Quality Control Associate Location: New Castle, Delaware Company: Simple Global Job Summary: The Quality Control Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products and processes meet the required quality standards and accuracy. This position involves conducting hourly inspections and locating and addressing packing mistakes, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. The Quality Control Associate will work closely with leads and management to ensure that all quality-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Note: This position reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance and timely arrival at work. Candidates must have their own vehicle or access to dependable transportation to fulfill job responsibilities effectively. Key Responsibilities: Inspection: Perform hourly inspections of prep and packing areas to ensure the correct shipping components are being packed in each box, correct box and labels are being used, etc. Document and report mistakes, inconsistencies and general inspection findings Quality Control Processes: Implement and follow quality control procedures and protocols. Assist in the development and refinement of quality control processes and guidelines. Ensure adherence to industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control activities. Analyze data and prepare daily report to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Problem-Solving: Investigate quality issues and collaborate with production and management teams to determine root causes. Propose and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality problems. Training and Support: Provide training and support to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma, GED and/or relative work experience Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a warehouse environment. Skills: Strong attention to detail and organization skills are a must. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic Excel knowledge is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse logistics and quality management systems such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Capability to stand or walk for extended periods is a must. Comfort with working in a fast paced shipping and warehouse setting.
