Gateway Agent

We are looking for a detail-oriented Gateway Agent to join our team Responsibilities:• Prepare and process all required documentation for air and ocean shipments accurately and efficiently.• Ensure timely distribution and release of shipment documentation to carriers, customers, and agents.• Monitor and coordinate shipment tasks, including submission of export bills, tracking, invoicing, and pre-alerts.• Maintain accurate shipment data in the Navisphere system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards.• Communicate effectively with internal teams, overseas offices, agents, customers, and vendors to facilitate smooth shipment operations.• Apply critical thinking and industry knowledge to address challenges and create effective solutions.• Promote positive working relationships within the team and with external stakeholders.• Ensure compliance with local and global regulations and company procedures.• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet team and country-specific requirements.• High school diploma or equivalent.• 1-3 years of experience in global forwarding or international shipping.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle changing customer needs.• Experience with shipment consolidations and gateway operations is preferred.• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.TalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
