This position is designed for early-career professionals seeking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting. The role provides valuable exposure to core accounting functions, financial reporting processes, and compliance standards within a high-performing organization.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and journal entries.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.Compile financial data for internal reporting and analysis.Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting documentation.Analyze variances and provide insights to accounting leadership.Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal reviews.Utilize accounting systems and spreadsheets to manage financial data.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.0–2 years of accounting or relevant internship experience.Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis tools.Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.Understanding of general ledger processes and account reconciliation.Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.Knowledge of GAAP standards preferred.This role offers a strong starting point for a long-term career in accounting, with opportunities to expand technical skills and gain exposure to complex financial operations.
