We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in Domestic Freight & Logistics to join a winning team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the logistics industry, demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills. This remote role requires a self-motivated individual who excels at multitasking and managing resources efficiently to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain client relationships to ensure a robust sales pipeline.
Conduct cold calls to gather information about potential clients’ transport requirements and identify decision-makers.
Self-generate meetings with potential new customers, either virtually via Teams or in person.
Track and record metrics throughout the sales process to inform strategies and improve outcomes.
Meet and exceed financial goals by effectively closing sales and expanding the customer base.
Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to enhance sales approaches and techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within the logistics industry.
Experience with FTL, Flatbed, Dry, Reefer, Drayage.
Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of business experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to analyze financial data to inform decision-making.
