Our employees are one of our most important resources, which is why we promise to deliver.Dolese Delivers:Stable FoundationTreat with RespectSafe EnvironmentsEmployee FocusJOB SUMMARY:Primary functions are to safely maintain and service the concrete batch plants and make needed repairs when they become necessary.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform preventive maintenance and repair on all company equipment including, but not limited to, conveyors, scales, hoppers, central mix drums, and boilersPerform servicing and maintenance of batch plant equipment; refer major problems to the supervisorTravel to various plants to make necessary repairsOperate mobile equipment of various sizes and weights in a safe and efficient mannerFollow all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations (MSHA/OSHA) for safe working proceduresRegular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work locationOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededQUALIFICATIONS:Experience/Education/SkillsCurrent Class D driver's licenseAbility to safely operate a service truckAbility to operate an oxyacetylene torch to make cutsAbility to Arc weld in various positions and types of metalWillingness and ability to maintain maintenance recordsBasic knowledge of proper hand tool and equipment usageGood safety and driving recordsAbility to safely and efficiently operate equipment under a variety of working conditionsAbility to read, write, and figure basic mathematical calculationsExcellent verbal, written, and communication skills and the ability to follow instructionsWillingness and ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends when necessaryAbility to maintain compliance with all MSHA/OSHA regulationsKnowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operationsAbility to work near, around, or on light or heavy equipmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to perform minor plumbing, pneumatic, and electrical repairsAbility to read and understand blueprintsMechanical aptitude and the ability to perform minor plant repairsKnowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in constructionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSLift objects of various dimensions and up to 100 lbs. of weight frequentlyAbility to repeatedly climb stairs and climb laddersAbility to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objectsAbility to use vibration tools repeatedlyAbility to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditionsAbility to repeatedly reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing/walking/sittingAbility to repeatedly walk on uneven surfacesAbility to work at heights up to, but not limited to, 70 feetEEO Statement:
