Job Description Medical Assistant, Orthopedics, Bone HealthMedical Assistant Full-time MA needed for a DUAL ROLE Medical Assistant. Needed for BOTH Bone Health/Osteoporosis and Physiatry/Pain Management Clinic in Ogden, UT. Looking for a warm, outgoing personality with a relentless positive attitude - that can interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds at all times. Need to be a "go getter" and "self starter". This is a MUST. Knowledge of the Prior Authorizations' landscape is a required skill. I.e. Understanding of "Cover My Meds" and Insurance portals as well as other similar Insurance portals and sites. Duties and skills include but are not limited to: patient relations, maintaining patient privacy, obtaining prior authorizations for osteoporosis injectables, pain management injections, excellent telephone skills and etiquette, clinic workflow control, booking and managing clinic and associated paperwork, ability to work accurately and efficiently, work well under pressure, effectively using our EMR/PM system (AdvancedMD), enjoy change, and make our patients feel great about their experience.
