We are deeply committed to improving maternal health outcomes, expanding access to midwifery care, and creating a model of care that honors the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of the communities we serve.Role DescriptionWe are seeking visionary, high-capacity leaders to join our Board of Advisors—a strategic, non-governing body that partners closely with executive leadership to shape the future of BirthCare & Women’s Health.This is an opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing organization at the forefront of maternal health innovation, community-based care, and whole-woman wellness.As a Board Advisor, you will:Provide strategic insight and thought partnership to executive leadershipAdvise on financial strategy, growth planning, and sustainability modelsSupport and open doors for fundraising, philanthropy, and strategic partnershipsOffer guidance on brand positioning, marketing, and community engagementAnalyze key data and trends to inform high-level decision-makingContribute to expansion initiatives, including service lines, facilities, and regional impactServe as a connector and ambassador, elevating BirthCare’s visibility and influenceThis role is ideal for individuals who are not only advisors—but builders, advocates, and catalysts for systemic change in women’s health.Who We’re Looking ForWe are intentionally building a Board of Advisors composed of diverse, high-impact leaders with expertise in one or more of the following areas:Finance & Investment (healthcare finance, private equity, scaling service-based organizations)Philanthropy & Fundraising (major gifts, foundation partnerships, capital campaigns)Healthcare Strategy & Policy (maternal health, women’s health, health equity)Marketing & Brand Strategy (thought leadership, digital growth, national positioning)Real Estate & Expansion Strategy (facility acquisition, development, healthcare infrastructure)Legal & Governance (healthcare law, nonprofit/for-profit hybrid models)Core QualificationsStrong financial acumen and experience in strategic planningDemonstrated success in fundraising, donor engagement, or partnership developmentAnalytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insightExperience building, scaling, or advising organizations through growth phasesExceptional collaboration and leadership presencePassion for advancing maternal health, gynecologic care, and whole-woman wellnessPreferred:Prior experience serving on a board or advisory councilEstablished network that can support funding, partnerships, or visibilityWhy This Role MattersBirthCare is entering a pivotal season of growth—expanding access to midwifery care, deepening our impact in maternal health, and building sustainable models that support both families and providers.As a Board Advisor, you will play a key role in:Advancing equitable access to high-quality maternal and gynecologic careSupporting innovative models of whole-person, lifespan care for womenContributing to solutions that address the maternal health crisis in the United StatesHelping build a scalable, community-centered healthcare model CommitmentQuarterly advisory meetings (virtual and/or in-person)Periodic strategic consultations and project-based engagementOpportunities to participate in key events, campaigns, and initiatives
