On a matchday you feel the energy of the supporters and know the work you do matters.”Simon Lenagan – Group Sporting Director Job DetailsJob Title: Academy Analysis InternshipsWe are currently recruiting for a plethora of positions, so please see below:U21 Performance Analyst InternU18 Performance Analyst InternIDP Analyst InternYDP Analyst InternFoundation Phase Analyst InternLocation: The Valley / Sparrows Lane Training GroundSalary: £UnpaidThese positions are a sandwich year placement and is open to currently enrolled students undertaking a placement year as part of their academic programme.We are looking for a academy analysis interns to join our team and play an important role in supporting the club’s continued growth and success.Working within a fast-paced professional football environment, you will contribute to delivering high standards across the club while helping create an environment where players, staff and supporters can thrive.What You'll Be DoingAssist with reports and video clips for upcoming opponents.To film and capture academy games and training.Live and post-match coding of training and games using HUDL Sports Code.Support with creating clips for post-match video analysis for the team and individuals.Help maintain Charlton Athletics’ team and individual statistical databases.Create reports on Charlton Athletics’ Loan Players.Update Charlton Athletics’ Best Practice Video Library.Assist with departmental projects. - Comply with all company policies and procedures. Adhere to all company regulations regarding safeguarding, health, safety and security This role will involve working collaboratively with colleagues across the club in a dynamic sporting environment where flexibility, teamwork and professionalism are essential.What We're Looking ForA team-first mindset and pride in contributing to collective successThe ability to perform and make sound decisions in a high-pressure sporting environmentRelentless attention to detail and commitment to elite standardsAccountability, professionalism and a willingness to go the extra mile Essential Experience / QualificationsStudying for a degree in Football or Sport.Good understanding of football coaching, tactics and technical details.Interest and passion for analysis of football.Ability to commit for the 2026/27 season.
