Candidates who receive an offer will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test as a condition of employment.Delivery Ops - Print Production Level 3Raleigh NC (Onsite)12 Months ContractWork hours will be 5am - 2pm with 1 hr lunchLess than 25% driving using personal vehicleDriving and Overtime:Driving and overtime are very limited.There is a 2nd client location 5 miles away that may need support on a very limited basis (4 times a year), and a peer may be able to handle it instead.Overtime could happen once a month and is voluntary.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Operate digital and color equipmentPossess skills and competencies to deliver contracted customer requirementsPerform defined and routine tasks and activitiesAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsAct as point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer jobsOperate standard finishing equipment (e.g., paper cutters, inserters, laminating, and hole punchers)Operate office/production equipment (printer, copier, fax, scan)Clean and maintain office equipment when necessaryProcess basic forms and update information using a PCCollect and submit meter readsProblem solve issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirementsPerform quality inspection before, during, and after output of each production runSort and scan hardcopy materials or other mediums for use in printed documents or digital format (training may be required and provided)Collect data and respond to print/copy equipment issues by contacting service personnel using specific PC applicationsOperate high volume printers and copiersEstimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobsOptimize document design for quality and reproductionTrack and store jobs as required for reuse at a future date, including file backupInspect files for problem areas, including fonts, image resolution, and image registrationIndex electronic materials to media such as CD-ROM, disk, or tape for reproduction and distributionIntegrate variable data files into printed format using templates providedOperate high volume folding and inserting mail equipmentPerform file/document conversion (utilizing standard software)Perform operator maintenance on equipmentMaintain reporting logs and information for billingPerform minimal training to customer end-users on equipmentEngage services from Client and/or third-party vendors to support purchase of supplies and services as requiredMay develop work processes or templatesSKILLS:Able to demonstrate computer skillsFunctional knowledge of PC (keyboard functions, mouse, etc.)Intermediate use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Web, Internet, and Intranet: Create spreadsheetsUse standard formulasSort, filter, and create graphsImport/export informationEmbed files into applicationsMove data between Word and ExcelAbility to use and locate devices (drives, files, printers) attached to networkAbility to send and receive emails, find, open, and save documents and files, and perform data entryAbility to use internet browsers for web browsing and send documents to preconfigured printersBasic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)Demonstrate business maturity and professionalismAbility to coach and mentor co-workersEXPERIENCE:Minimum 1 year experience in a Customer Service environmentEDUCATION:Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalentRequired: Post high school technology training or experienceEDUCATION VERIFICATION:YesMetasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
