Overview of the RoleOur client, a global manufacturer of electronic components, is seeking an experienced commercial contract attorney to provide immediate and ongoing support to its legal team. This role requires an attorney who can step in quickly, operate independently, and function with minimal oversight in an in‑house environment. This is a practical, hands‑on role focused on day‑to‑day commercial contracting, with direct interaction with the General Counsel.ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate sales agreements, supply agreements, and statements of workProvide independent, business‑minded legal support with limited supervisionConfirm and oversee agreement reviews performed by paralegals, as appropriateSupport efficient contract workflows across the commercial organizationUse contract review technology (including Luminance, if applicable) to manage agreementsFor more tech‑savvy candidates, assist with light contract system support and maintenanceCandidate Qualifications5+ years of strong commercial contracting background, particularly supporting sales and supply agreementsIn‑house experience is a must, ideally with a global manufacturing companyAbility to function independently with minimal directionExperience working with technically complex products or manufacturing environments strongly preferredComfortable operating in a lean, fast‑moving legal teamExperience with CLM or contract review tools is a plusOther Information / LogisticsStart: ASAPDuration: OngoingHours: 20–40 hours per weekWork Location: Atlanta hybrid preferred; fully remote, seasoned commercial contracting attorneys with on-point experience will be consideredCompensation: Hourly rate, W‑2 through Legalpeople
