The Title:Director of FacilitiesRole Overview:Join Our Team as We Grow Leaders and Expand Impact! The Director of Facilities position is a highly collaborative, hands-on leadership position. Responsibilities include oversight, compliance, and operational management of all LADACIN property sites and facilities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in facilities management, construction management, engineering, property management, or a related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of multi-site facilities management experience with demonstrated leadershipOr equivalent combination of experience and certifications, including 8-10 years of facilities management experience with demonstrated leadership in a multi-site agency, preferably serving individuals with disabilities. Job Description:Compliance & Facility OversightSupport Strategic Plan initiatives by establishing approved goals and objectives aligned with facility needs.Ensure sites are compliant with all Agency specific funding sources, including Federal, State and local Health and Safety and regulatory requirements.Ensure that each site is prepared for inspections. Create corrective action plans and monitor implementation for deficiencies cited in internal and external audits.Conducts scheduled property site inspections as determined by executive administration, documenting findings and providing appropriate recommendations.Oversee the Maintenance Department employees. Delegate, coach, and train.Maintains an organized database of work requisitions to track and trend response times and work demands for senior management.Maintains an emergency call roster for building repairs, vehicle accidents, weather emergencies, and equipment malfunction. Must carry an agency cell and be prepared to respond to emergencies as indicated 24 x 7. Initiate and supervises organized safety programs.Maintains an inventory of all leased properties, initiates lease renewal talks as appropriate, and ensures that all conditions of the lease are met on an ongoing basis.Cooperate with all licensing and accrediting operations of funding sources.Manages appropriate sections of the agency's Accessibility Plan. Vendor Relations, Procurement and BudgetServe as a liaison with federal, state and local agencies, companies and contractors, architects, and LADACIN staff on all technical matters affecting facilities management.Establish and maintain strong business relationships with service vendors.Maintain a centralized, updated contractor list for services (construction, landscaping, repairs and painting, etc.) and goods (furniture, carpeting, equipment, supplies, etc.).Responsible for working with Finance to develop and adhere to annual departmental and capital budgets.Maintains a centralized schedule of capital expenditures and expected maintenance and/or replacement.Ensure compliance with LADACIN's purchasing policies and the requirements of specific funding sources. Oversee bidding process, evaluate bids, and recommend vendors to whom contracts should be awarded.Direct, schedule, and oversee external contractors (electricians, plumbers, roofers, painters, landscapers, etc.).Oversee procurement of all goods and services from outside vendors and ensure delivery of high quality and standards. GeneralRepresents LADACIN at external meetings and conferences and obtains state-of-the-art techniques and information to continuously enhance service delivery and quality improvement.Accepts, utilizes and supports the work of volunteers.Must have own reliable transportation and be able to travel between LADACIN sites and to other locations as needed to perform requirements of position.Comply with Agency Policies and Procedures and Code of Ethics.Other duties as assignedThe Location:LADACIN is based in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
