Travel Speech Language PathologistJob DescriptionTrusted Staffe is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team at our partner, a Level II Trauma Medical Center in Pomona, CA. This is a travel contract position offering competitive compensation and benefits.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct speech therapy services to pediatric patients in an acute care setting.Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and home care programs.Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.QualificationsMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Current SLP license in the state of California or ability to obtain one.Minimum of one year of experience in pediatric speech therapy.Experience in acute care, inpatient, and outpatient pediatric speech, swallowing, cognitive, and voice therapy.Current BLS certification.Job DetailsShift: 5x8 hour days (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday-Friday.No on-call requirements.No floating to other facilities.No block scheduling is available.RTO restrictions: 6 shifts allowed per 13-week assignment.Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week, with a possibility of up to 3 shift cancellations during the 13-week assignment.Hospital HighlightsMagnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma Center412 staffed bedsCerner charting systemFree ParkingWe encourage you to apply if you are a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist seeking a challenging and rewarding travel assignment.
