EDI Eclipse Specialist @ Remote - 1+year (C2C Contract)

REQUIREMENT Job Title: EDI Eclipse Specialist Location: Remote Duration: 1+ Year EDI Eclipse Specialist (5-10 Years Experience) Technologies: Eclipse EDI, ERP integration, EDI standards (X12/EDIFACT), SFTP/AS2, APIs, SQL, Cleo/IBM/Sterling (optional) Overview We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Eclipse Specialist to support, maintain, and enhance our EDI and B2B integration environment. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Eclipse EDI processes, trading partner setup, mapping, and ERP integration. The ideal candidate has a mix of technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and strong communication skills in fast-paced operational environments. Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, maintain, and enhance EDI integrations within the Eclipse EDI environment.Set up new trading partners, communication methods (SFTP/FTPS/AS2), and document exchange workflows.Build, update, and troubleshoot EDI maps (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON).Support day-to-day EDI transaction monitoring, error recovery, and exception handling.Collaborate with ERP teams to ensure seamless data flow between Eclipse and backend systems.Analyze and resolve EDI processing issues, including data, mapping, communication, and workflow errors.Work directly with business users, trading partners, and vendors to align requirements and maintain compliance.Document trading partner specifications, process flows, mapping rules, and integration guidelines.Improve EDI processes through automation, standardization, and best practices.Participate in project work, upgrades, and onboarding initiatives. Required Skills & Experience5-10 years of hands-on experience working with EDI systems, preferably in a high-volume environment.Strong knowledge of EDI standards: ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON.Deep experience with Eclipse EDI processes (distribution/manufacturing/ERP workflows).Proven ability to manage trading partner onboarding and support processes.Experience with communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS.Solid understanding of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay business processes.Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; able to resolve complex EDI integration issues.Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Preferred / Nice-to-HaveExperience with B2B tools such as Cleo Clarify, Cleo Harmony, IBM Sterling B2Bi, IBM ITX, Boomi, or MuleSoft.Familiarity with modern API-based integration and JSON workflows.Experience working in Agile or ticket-driven support environments.Understanding of ERP systems commonly integrated with Eclipse.Understanding of Transportation and Logistics EDI documents.
