Manager, Client Operations & Systems ArchitectureLocation: San Gabriel / Greater LA — 1 day/week in officeYou'll architect the automation backbone that doubles a $70M CTA's account base — without doubling headcount.This firm manages $70M across 45 SMAs for HNW clients and family offices. Scaling to $150M+ and 100+ SMAs across two channels — introducing brokers and the fee-only RIA world. Current manual workflows can't take them there.Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll own:Workflow automation — rebuild reconciliation, reporting, and client comms with Python, VBA, and AI toolingA bulletproof billing engine — management fees, incentive fees, and bespoke hurdles across 100+ SMAs, zero error toleranceClient reporting portal — daily P&L, monthly tear sheets, tax docs, on-demandDual-channel ops — IB give-ups and commissions on one side, RIA custodial APIs on the otherYou'll be a fit if you have:4–7 years in middle-office ops, client services, or trade support at an FCM, brokerage, RIA, or managed account platformPower-user fluency in Python, VBA, Excel, and AI tools — you write scripts instead of doing repetitive workThe polish to handle HNW clients and demanding IBs directlyThe autonomy to fix broken processes without asking permissionHow to apply: Skip the cover letter.
