Storage Backup AdministratorDuration: 6+ monthsLocation: 100% remoteRestrictions: No third parties or sub vendors allowed.We are seeking an experienced Storage, Backup & Data Protection Contractor to support and stabilize our global infrastructure environment. This role will manage on‑prem and hybrid storage platforms (NetApp, Dell, QNAP), administer SAN/NAS environments, and perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and storage optimization.Responsibilities include managing Veeam backup and replication, ensuring reliable backup/restore operations, conducting recovery testing, and supporting data retention, compliance, and cloud‑based archival strategies.The contractor will also contribute to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, including replication, failover design, and documentation.Requirements:• 7+ years of enterprise storage and backup experience• Strong hands‑on expertise with NetApp, Dell, QNAP, and Veeam• Experience with hybrid on‑prem/cloud environments• Solid troubleshooting and analytical skillsPreferred:• NetApp, Dell, or Veeam certifications• Multi‑site or global environment experience• Exposure to AWS or Azure
