Job Title: Project Manager (Construction)Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Remote considered)Travel: 25–50%About the OpportunityWe’re partnered with a fast-growing company in the construction and data center infrastructure space that is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. This is a high-impact role supporting large-scale data center builds, with strong visibility and opportunity for advancement into senior leadership.Position OverviewThe Project Manager will lead field-driven construction and installation projects from kickoff through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and on-site execution—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong field experience and the ability to operate in fast-paced, construction environments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full project lifecycle including budget, schedule, and resource planningCoordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teamsServe as the primary point of contact for project communication and issue resolutionOversee RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentationMonitor field progress and support site teams to maintain schedulesIdentify and mitigate risks to keep projects on trackEnsure alignment with project scope, client expectations, and quality standardsSupport trade coordination and job site readinessDrive cost control and overall project profitabilityTravel to active job sites as needed (25–50%)Project ScopeLarge-scale data center construction projectsInfrastructure installations including:Equipment racking systemsContainment systems (data hall enclosures)Floor grid systems and related finishesTypical project timelines: 6–12 monthsQualifications3–5+ years of construction project management or field coordination experienceStrong background working in field-based construction environments (required)Experience with GCs and subcontractor coordinationData center, commercial, or industrial project experience preferredAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience managing RFIs, change orders, and project documentationSkills & AttributesStrong leadership and communication skillsHighly organized with attention to detailProactive, problem-solving mindsetAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesComfortable in fast-paced, construction-driven environmentsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryDiscretionary bonus3 weeks PTO401(k) with company contributionTravel expenses coveredWhy This RoleWork on large, complex data center buildsJoin a rapidly growing organization with strong project backlogClear path to senior-level leadership opportunitiesHigh visibility and impact within the organizationIf you’re looking for a role that combines field leadership with long-term growth in a booming sector, this is a strong opportunity to explore.
