Registered Nurse (Observation Unit) Part-Time

Department: Observation UnitWork Hours: Part-Time, Day/ Evening PT1. Weekends and holidays as assigned.Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. For a Graduate Nurse this will be under the supervision of an experienced registered nurse.RequirementsGraduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required and a valid Pennsylvania temporary practice permit for GN.Basic Cardiac Life Support. ACLS (must obtain within 6-month introductory period).Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.PreferredBachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Telemetry experience. Certification in this specialty area.
