CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer / Machinist Passaic County, NJ | Full-Time | On-Site | $40–$70/hr About the Shop We're an ISO 13485-certified precision CNC machining shop in Clifton, NJ. Our floor includes 5-axis and 3-axis CNC mills, CNC turning centers, wire EDM, surface grinding, laser marking, and CMM inspection equipment. We primarily serve the medical device industry with active expansion into aerospace (AS9100D) and defense (ITAR). This is a hands-on shop with a small, experienced crew. The person in this role works on the floor every day. The Role We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist with 5+ years of experience who can own the work from print to finished part — program it, set it up, run it, inspect it, and troubleshoot when something's off. This is not a desk programming role. You run the parts you program. Tolerances are tight, materials are demanding, and quality is non-negotiable. You'll work with CAD/CAM software, make G-code adjustments directly, and operate within our ISO 13485 quality system. Equipment We Run Experience with any of the following is a strong plus: HAAS DS-30 Lathe Okuma Genos 5-Axis Makino 3-Axis EDM Machines CMM Inspection Equipment What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on CNC milling and turning experience in a job shop or precision manufacturing environment Hands-on CAM programming experience required (Mastercam or Esprit preferred) —operation or setup experience alone is not a fit for this role Demonstrated 5-axis programming and setup experience Experience machining medical-grade or aerospace alloys (stainless, titanium, PEEK, Inconel, etc.) Able to hold ±0.0005" tolerances and work confidently from GD&T drawings Familiar with an ISO-controlled quality environment (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or AS9100) Lives within commuting distance of Clifton, NJ What We Offer $40–$70/hr based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) contribution and profit sharing Long-term growth potential, including supervisory and leadership opportunities Interested?
