Join Our Team as an Overnight Pharmacist Job Description: - Be a vital part of our healthcare team, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages and designated areas of the hospital. - Collaborate with Physicians on drug selection and dosing to optimize patient outcomes. - Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications to enhance understanding and compliance. - Drive Medication Safety initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. - Manage patient profiles and actively report and avoid adverse drug reactions. - Prepare and mix IV admixtures and nutritional supplements with precision and care. - Maintain narcotic accountability to ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols. Position Details: - Schedule: 7 Nights On / 7 Nights Off - Shift: 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Wednesday - Tuesday) - No On Call Requirements - No 48-hour Guarantee - No Blocked Scheduling Requirements: - Current ACLS & BLS certifications. - Valid AZ Pharmacist License. - Inpatient acute hospital experience is a must. - Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; Board Certified and/or completion of an accredited pharmacy residency is a plus.
