Traffic Coordinator CResponsible for ensuring all paperwork for the shipping/receiving departments is completed and maintained in a timely and accurate manner.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with all employees of organization and outside vendors as necessaryAbility to apply concepts of basic mathAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office, such as Word, Excel and Outlook.Proficiency in SAP is preferred as daily use of SAP may be required in this position.Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.Job ResponsibilitiesEntering various data related to shipping documents into the automated warehouse management system (WMS)Process bill of landingContact carriers as necessary to have shipments picked upMonitor the completion of inbound and outbound shipments and daily review of all paperworkMaintain break log, Investigate and resolve issues and communicate with appropriate company personnel and carriersDaily routing of orders to maximize efficiencies and minimize fright cost where appropriateWork Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position:The noise level in the work environment is usually quiteInteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
