Our Plant Operator with Medical Oxygen Focus plays a critical role in supporting healthcare customers by safely preparing, filling, and handling medical oxygen cylinders in a highly regulated environment. This position is ideal for someone who values accuracy, consistency, safety, and meaningful work that directly impacts patient care and community health. Shift is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. What You’ll Do You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production of medical oxygen and related gases while supporting daily plant operations. Safely fill medical oxygen and compressed gas cylinders following DOT, FDA, and company procedures. Prepare cylinders for filling, including evacuation and contamination prevention. Perform pre-fill and post-fill inspections to ensure product quality and safety. Conduct basic gas analysis testing (purity, dew point, quality) as assigned. Verify cylinder requalification test dates and overall cylinder condition. Remove old labels and apply accurate FDA-compliant medical labels. Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and compliance documentation. Stage, organize, and track cylinders by size, gas type, and production sequence. Support inventory flow to ensure medical oxygen availability and on-time deliveries. Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized plant environment. Follow all safety policies and participate in ongoing training and cross-training. Physical: We do have lifting requirements up to 75lbs frequently, with assistance. **Cylinders are made of steel; by design they are heavy and awkward to move.
