Distribution Supervisor - Nights

If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.The roleProactively manage the Health and Safety systems and procedures driving safety KPIs to ensure accident prevention and safety improvement.Manage S&D activity within Chippenham Distribution to achieve KPI targets and business objectives with daily, weekly and monthly review of all KPIs with team members.Co-ordinate departmental productivity improvement through effective resource management and operator flexibility. Manage and monitor picking productivity/quality to ensure output from the team. Identify and act with poor performers/high achievers.Co-ordinate S&D activities in conjunction with Customer Service Departments to ensure that Customer service and Operational efficiencies are maximized.Co-ordinate activities with Factory Management and production planning to ensure that operational efficiency is maintained and improved.Manage stock integrity control measures.Communicate effectively with employees, lead and motivate in order to develop relations and successfully manage personnel resources.Communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels to deliver service demands.The profile3+ years of experience within a Distribution supervisory roleKnowledge of Lean Practices, Six Sigma – desirableILM Level 3IOSH qualifiedIT literateSAP knowledge – preferredJ-18808-Ljbffr
