At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.**RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism+ Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information+ Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points+ Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel+ Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms+ Act as a first responder in emergency situations**QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):**+ Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience+ Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment+ Must possess one or more of the following:+ Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site+ Prior military experience+ Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills+ Exceptional customer service skills+ Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):**+ Prior law enforcement or armed security experience+ Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field**BENEFITS:**+ Health insurance and 401k plans+ Schedules that fit with your personal life goals+ Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities+ Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more...Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
